Flood Recovery Volunteer Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in volunteering to support Boulder & Broomfield Counties in response to the September 2013 flood. There are still a number of ways individuals and groups can get involved in recovery efforts.

Local organizations including LyonsVolunteers, Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley and Flatirons Habitat for Humanity have an ongoing need for volunteers, both individuals and groups, to assist with repair and rebuilding projects. The Long-Term Flood Recovery Group and several of its committees need administrative support. City and County programs continue work on parks, trails and open space areas.

Out-of-State Group/Team Flood Recovery Volunteer Information

If you have an out-of-state group interested in coming to Boulder County to volunteer the first step is to email the Volunteer Coordinator with the Long-Term Flood Recovery Group.

The Long-Term Flood Recovery Group Volunteer Coordinator can provide your group with information about housing options and the types of work projects that are available.

Please do not finalize your plans to come to Boulder County until a member of the Volunteer Coordination Committee has confirmed that there is work for your group during the time you have requested to come.
