I forgot my username. How do I retrieve that information? 

Your username is the e-mail address you used when you created your account. If your e-mail address does not work at login, please contact us and a Volunteer Connection representative should be in contact with you within 1-2 business days.

I forgot my password. How do I retrieve that information?
Click the blue "LOGIN" button on the top right side of the website. Enter your username and click "Forgot password?" An e-mail with a temporary password will be sent to you.

Do I need to have an e-mail address to register?
Yes. Our website uses your e-mail address to identify you and send you important information about any opportunities you sign up for or express interest in. If you do not have an e-mail account, you can get one free of charge from Yahoo or Google. Free internet access is also available from most public libraries. If setting up an e-mail account is not an option, please call Julie Kurzawa at 303.895.3416 for assistance.

I am a youth volunteer. How do I get started? How old to I have to be to register on this website?
If you are at least 13, you can create your own volunteer profile with us. Our partner organizations list the minimum age volunteers need to be in order to volunteer with a parent or guardian or without a parent or guardian.


I want to volunteer with my family. How do we get started?
Volunteering as a family is easy! Simply create a private Volunteer Team and add each of your family members to the team. Opportunities clearly state the minimum age youth need to be in order to volunteer, either with a parent or guardian, or on their own. You can sign up some or all of your family members for an opportunity. Check out the "Team" video above.


I want to volunteer with a group of people. How do we get started?
Volunteering as a group is easy! Simply create a private Volunteer Team and add each of your group members to the team. You can sign up some or all of your group members for an opportunity. Check out the "Team" video above.


My Company would like to volunteer as a team. How do we get started? 
We support corporate social responsibility initiatives within our business community in a variety of ways. You may search our site for opportunities suitable for a group and sign up as a Team. Check out the "Team" video above. Or you may contact us to learn more about how we can support your CSR initiatives. 

I signed up for an Opportunity and now I cannot make it. What should I do?
We ask that volunteers remove themselves from project at least three days prior to the opportunity. Just login and go to the "My Account" tab on the horizontal navigation bar, in the Upcoming Opportunities box. Click on the "Remove Me" link for the corresponding opportunity.

Please contact the opportunity coordinator directly if you need to withdraw from an opportunity with less than three days notice. Please understand that our partner organizations and clients rely on volunteers. We reserve the right to decline future volunteer requests from volunteers that repeatedly do not show up for volunteer opportunities or who frequently cancel beyond the withdrawal deadline.

I have been waitlisted for a project. Now what?

When (and if) a space opens up, you will be notified via e-mail. Open spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis so if you are still available and interested for the volunteer opportunity, make sure you login, return to the sign-in page and claim one of the open spaces. PLEASE DO NOT JUST SHOW UP FOR THE OPPORTUNITY.

My hours are not accurate. Why are my hours not showing up?
Please give the opportunity coordinator one week to verify attendance. However, if it takes longer than one week for your hours to show up on your Account Overview page, go to your Volunteer History, view the opportunity listing for the project you served at and click the "Request Hours" link.
